Team and Collaborators

Visual artist, filmmaker and educator with a B.A in Communications form Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, and an MFA in Visual Arts from UC San Diego. She is film studies lecturer at the University of San Diego, and an environmental studies lecturer at the University of California San Diego. Her films have been selected in festivals such as the Montreal Independent Film Festival, and Berlin International Art Film Festival, and her artworks have been shown extensively for the past 14 years in venues such as the emerging artist pavilion Arte-Camara at Artbo International Art Fair in Colombia, the San Diego Art Institute, ArtexArte Gallery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and UCLA’s New Wight Gallery. 

Animator and illustrator whose credits include co-director on THQ’s Ratatouille video game for Disney/Pixar, which won the Annie for Best Video Game Animation of the year. Clients have included Mass Animation, Fox Television, Cirque de Soleil, Sony and DC Comics. Currently designing and directing animation for film and commercial projects, and teaching Animation and Illustration for Fullerton College. Marty created the animation for Telepathine Studios, the animated sequences in Coming Clean: A Demand for a Fossil Free UC, as well as the plant oracle animation in Rizomas.

Industrial & Interior Designer with a BA from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, Colombia, and an MFA from Labasad Design School in Barcelona. Paola is a 3D animator doing freelance work for a broad range of industries, including architecture, fashion, product design, and film. Paola developed the urban ecologies animated sequence for Rizomas, designed the Femme Vitale credit sequence and has worked as a design consultant for Telepathine Studio.

Videographer, climate justice advocate, and media creator with a BA in Business from UCSD. Andre is passionate about gender, racial, and climate justice and has been a Freelance video maker for the past 5 years. In 2019, Salehian Co-created This Is the Deal alongside Carolina Montejo, and in 2021 they Co-created Coming Clean: A Demand for a Fossil Free UC. Andre focuses on cinematography and editing.

Composer, music producer, podcaster, and founder of Wondrewmusic, a Bogota-based production company that has composed original music for film, TV, and video games, collaborating with companies such as SONY BMG, Telecinco, and The United Nations among others. During his 16 years of experience in the Music Industry, Andres has been interested in creating synergy with projects that have a social and environmental impact. Andrés composed the song “Water Travel” which is soundtrack to the Femme Vitale documentary series.

Collaborators and Clients

As a filmmaker and media producer, Carolina Montejo has worked for the Medellin-based creative platform El Arbol del Magnolio in the Co-creation of the Children’s podcast Un Magnolio en mi Ciudad; as well as for the Green New Deal at UCSD grassroots organization and Aaron Lab of Psychology and Climate. Contributors and collaborators in past project include the Bullerengue music group from Barranquilla, Colombia, Tonada; the Bogotá-based female-led food sovereignty organization Red de Mujeres Contruyendo Futuro, as well as Dr. Lawrence Jensen and the inclusion of his 1990’s instructional videos The Secret Life of Plants in the 2021 film Rizomas.
